Google Chromecast 3 Price in India, Specifications: The latest Chromecast 3 is now officially available in India and listed on Flipkart.
Google’s streaming device will cost Rs 3,499. However, Chromecast 3 does not come with 4K or UHD resolution support. Google is yet to launch to launch 4K-variant in the Indian market. Chromecast is Google’s streaming device, which can be connected to a television set.
As part of launch offers, Chromecast 3 will come with free one year Sony Liv access and six month Gaana subscription. Flipkart is also offering Rs 100 cashback for those who buy Chromecast 3 using a PhonePe account. Axis Bank debit or credit card users will get 10 percent instant discount as part of Flipkart’s Diwali Dhamaka Days sale, which is on till October 27.
Google Chromecast 3: Specifications, features
Google Chromecast 3’s dimensions are 52 mm x 52 mm and it will come in a charcoal colour option. The one major difference with the new Chromecast is that is now support video-casting at up to 1080p or full HD resolution at 60fps. The earlier Chromecase 2 was limited to 720p at 60fps when it came to video resolution.
Chromecast 3 also comes with Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 GHz/5 GHz) and an HDMI and Micro-USB port. It is support on Android, iOS, Mac and Windows systems. Chromecast 3 also comes with support for Google Assistant. Google also claims this new Chromecast has a faster processor with 15 per cent quicker performance compared to the previous variant.
The devce can be plugged into a TV’s HDMI port and works with iPhone, iPad, Android, Chromebook, Mac, Windows, etc devices. Users can just press the cast button on a YouTube video or Netflix video and stream the content from their mobile device to their television set. Users can continue to take calls, send messages while streaming their content on the television.
The Chromecast 3 requires a stable WiFi connection to work. Users can also control it with the Google Assistant on Google Home or Home Mini speaker.
