Apsuja Infratech, a Hyderabad-based construction company, has joined hands with  Simpliforge Creations, a 3D printing solutions company, to print the country’s first 3D printed temple for a residential community at Siddhipet in Telangana.

The 3D technology that will be used to construct the temple will utilise indigenously developed material and software.

According to Apsuja Infratech Managing Director Hari Krishna Jeedipalli, the temple will have three sanctums, or garbhas, shaped like ‘modak’ (a sweet dumping dedicated to Lord Ganesha), a square abode devoted to Lord Shiva (shivalay) and a Lotus-shaped home for Goddess Parvati.

The 3D temple will be built at a height of 30 feet in an area of 3,800 square feet. This Hindu temple is built in three parts. Apsuja Company has also released samples related to this.

There are total three sanctums in this temple. Ganesha temple will be constructed in ‘modak’ shape, Shiva temple in rectangular shape and Parvati temple in lotus shape. The construction of Shiva temple and Modak has already been completed. Construction of the second phase of lotus and tall gopurams has begun.

Apsuja Infratech MD Hari Krishna Jeedipalli said that following the principles of the temple, we are building a 3D temple with design methods, accurate analysis and innovative construction methods according to the requirements. It is claimed that this is the first 3D-printed structure designed as a place of worship on such a large scale in the world.
