COVID19: Natipora siblings test negative, discharged from JLNM

Srinagar: Two siblings from Natipora area of Srinagar, who were tested positive for COVID19 earlier, were discharged from JLNM Hospital on Monday.

On March 26, five and 7 year-old sibling were admitted at JLNM Rainawari Hospital Srinagar after they were tested positive for Covid-19. Their mother who was Covid-19 negative was staying with them.

They were tested positive after coming into contact with their grandfather who had a travel history of Saudi Arabia.

The re-confirmation tests of all the three were found negative today and they were discharged from the hospital.

“First two COVID-19 Positive children discharged today from JLNM  Hospital Rainawari Srinagar along  with their mother who was COVID-19 Negative but was staying with her daughters.  The repeat samples of both the children and of the mother   came negative for COVID-19 today,” Department of Information and Public Relations, Govt of Jammu & Kashmir said in a tweet.
