Srinagar, May 01: Barely 24 hours after the state government relieved him of holding the charge of the Department of Floriculture, Minister Javaid Mustafa Mir was Tuesday reassigned the charge of the said department after CM Mehbooba Mufti came out with a fresh order notifying the change.
“In pursuance of Rule 5 of the Jammu and Kashmir Government business rules, I, Mehbooba Mufti, Chief Minister, J&K do hereby assign the charge of the Department of Floriculture to Mr. Javaid Mustafa Mir in addition to the Government Business already assigned to him,” read the order modifying the one passed a day earlier.
On Monday, in the cabinet reshuffle, Altaf Bukhari, the minister of finance and labour & employment was given to head floriculture department as well.
Javaid was assigned Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction.
