Srinagar: After offering mediation on India and Pakistan, the US president Donald Trump has once again jumped onto the bandwagon and offered mediation to India and China in their ongoing border stand-off in Ladakh.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Trump said the US is “willing and able” to “mediate” between India and China.

Trump referred to a “raging border dispute” that he said the US was willing to help resolve.

“We have informed both India and China that the United States is ready, willing and able to mediate or arbitrate their now raging border dispute,” Trump tweeted.

His comments come at a time of reports saying that the Indian and Chinese armies are locked in a standoff at a few points along the Line of Actual Control. The standoff between the Indian and Chinese armies has been on for the last few weeks.
