After the killing of 49 CRPF troopers in Lethpora suicide attack, Kashmiris in Jammu and elsewhere in the country have to face the public rage. Nahida Manzoor, a young mountaineer from Srinagar, is now preparing to scale the world’s highest peak. She has been climbing small hills since her childhood days and enjoys going on long treks.Nahida Manzoor is a trained mountaineer and has completed all mountaineering courses.She has so far scaled Mount Deo Tibba-Manali and Friendship Peak of Himachal Pradesh . In Kashmir she has scaled Mount Mahadev and Mount Tatakooti. But lack of money for climb the summit is making here journey full of hurdles. With no government support, she has started crowd funding to collect Rs 30 lakh for the expedition.
India Tuesday said it carried out “non-military, pre-emptive air strikes” across the Line of Control (LoC) in a pre-dawn operation targeting the Pakistan-based militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).Foreign Secretary, Vijay Gokhale claimed a pre-emptive strike was carried out by India on a training camp of JeM in Balakot across the LoC. On the other hand, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi asserted that Pakistan is a peaceful country but understands the importance of protecting its borders, as he outlined the government’s response and future course of action in the wake of the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) strikes across the Line of Control (LoC).
