WATCH: Deepika Padukone in tears after RRR’s Oscar win

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was overwhelmed listening to the speech of MM Keervani as he accepted the award at the 95th Academy Awards.

In a social media video, Deepika was seen sitting in the audience extending her support to the RRR team and listening to the acceptance speech the actress could be seen in tears.

Aand while Naatu Naatu won an Oscar for the best original song, Actor Ram Charan shared a heartfelt note on Twitter. “We have won! We have won as Indian Cinema!! We won as a country!! The Oscar Award is coming home!

“RRR is and will always remain as the most special film of our lives and of Indian Cinema history. I can’t thank everyone enough for manifesting the Oscar Award. It still feels like I am living in a dream.”

Meanwhile, poducer Guneet Monga of the Elephant Whisperers has shared a heartfelt note post the historic win at the 95th Academy Awards. ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ was nominated against ‘Haul Out,’ ‘How Do You Measure A Year?’ ‘The Martha Mitchell Effect,’ and ‘Stranger At The Gate’.

The film’s plot revolves around a family who adopts two orphan baby elephants in Tamil Nadu’s Mudumalai Tiger Reserve.
