SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 15: Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Mir Tariq Ali today held a meeting with all senior officers of the corporation on various public issues.
In an official handout issued here, the Commissioner directed for timely action to meet the public aspirations.
The Commissioner directed the concerned officers and field functionaries to take cohesive and collaborated steps to address the public issues including regular sanitation in all the electoral wards and collection of garbage and its disposal in an efficient manner. Besides, the officials were also directed to ensure timely rendering of services like death and birth certificates, building permission cases, completion of targeted projects under State Plan, devolution grants, centrally sponsored schemes like JTFRP, AMRUT and drainage schemes, curbing the menace of polythene, across the district.
It was exhorted that all the wings will remain seized with their responsibilities without any laxity and shall ensure that the public issues are addressed in a time bound manner.
