New Delhi:Pakistan registered a comprehensive 131-run win vs. Zimbabwe in the final ODI of their five-match series, thus completing a series whitewash in the process.
Towards the end of Zimbabwe’s innings, Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed – much like former India skipper MS?Dhoni did once upon a time – decided to roll his arm over.
MS Dhoni has one international wicket to his name. Dhoni had dismissed West Indies’ Travis Dowlin in an ICC Champions Trophy match in 2009.
Sarfraz’s place behind the stumps was taken up by Fakhar Zaman in the two overs the skipper bowled.
After the match, Ahmed looked ahead to the six-team Asia Cup in Abu Dhabi and Dubai in September.
“We learned lots of things here, and hopefully we’ll take that to the Asia Cup,” he said. “We definitely need some rest now, so we’ll go home for a bit before returning to training to prepare for the Asia Cup.”
