Cristiano Ronaldo leaves a huge tip for hotel staff who served him during Greece holiday.More than a great player, Ronaldo has displayed many of his qualities on and off the field. Ronaldo took off time after the FIFA World Cup Round of 16 to explore Greece with his family. Impressed by the service of the staff at a luxurious resort he stayed in, Ronaldo left them a huge tip. Reportedly, the whopping tip amounted to £17,850 (15,99,931.32 INR) and everyone is in awe of the generosity the footballer has shown. The gesture came in after the player signed for Juventus in a EUR 100 million deal.
After Portugal’s shocking exit in the Round of 16 against Uruguay, it was a hard time for Ronaldo and he left for a holiday soon. It was during this time that he was in talks with Juventus executive Andrea Agnelli and his age Jorge Mendes and the deal got sealed in Greece. Staying at the luxurious Costa Navarino hotel with his girlfriend and family has surely refreshed Ronaldo who has now left for his annual CR7 tour to China after confirming his Juventus transfer in Italy.Impressed by the first class service that he and his family received, Ronaldo left them a cheque which would not have meant much to him but it is certainly a lot for the hard-working staff. He also asked the hotel to split the tip uniformly among the staff.Located in Messinia, Peloponnese region of Greece, Costa Navarino is a resort with two five star luxury hotels, health club, spa among other things and offers a picturesque view of the Mediterranean.
