Restoration of normalcy, healing wounds my priority: DGP

Srinagar, Oct 31: Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police Dilbagh Singh hours after getting SAC nod for his full time appointment on the top police post said that restoration of normalcy and healing of wounds caused by the unrest would be his top priorities.

Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh solicited cooperation from people particularly youth for restoration of peace and normalcy in the state and said “healing the wounds of people caused by the unrest would be my priority and hope people would come forward to build up new bonds of relationship with the police.”

Saying that he would work hard to build up the state police force on modern lines to combat the challenges on law and order front, DGP said people to people contact at all levels will remain the priority for the police.
