People are living under constant threat, feeling insecure: Mian Altaf

Srinagar, Apr 17: Senior National Conference leader and Member legislative Assembly Kangan Mian Altaf Ahmed has expressed deep concern over the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir particularly in some parts of Jammu where an effort is made to tear apart the secular fabric and flare up the communal tension.
In a statement issued, Mian Altaf Ahmed has expressed serious concern over the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir particularly in some parts of Kathua and Samba where vested interests are trying to flare up the communal tension.
Mian Altaf urged the state government particularly the chief minister to act immediately and ensure that the communal harmony is maintained in the state.
“The efforts of the government are not enough to bring situation under control, adding that the people in government are not acting appropriately so that the communal harmony is maintained,” he said.
Mian Altaf said that the present government has failed to protect life and property of people and people are living under constant threat and feeling insecure.
