Er Rasheed

Srinagar, Jan 09: Seconding Omar Abdullah’s appeal to masses not to give a fractured mandate in upcoming assembly elections Er Rashid on Wednesday said that ball is now in the people’s court and they must uproot all those forces who diluted the Kashmir cause, acted like proxies of New Delhi, ensured dynastic politics, corruption, nepotism and VIP culture.

While addressing various meetings in Handwara on Wednesday Rashid said that Omar has every right to seek a decisive mandate for his party but owes a moral responsibility to explain what happened to the huge previous mandates especially the one his party got in 1996 after violence had hit the state so badly.

Rasheed said that the question is not who reaches corridors of power but the issue is will sufferings of Kashmiris end in near future.
