MeT predicts wet weather for next three days

Srinagar, April 06: A fresh spell of rain is expected in Kashmir on April 7, an official from the meteorological department said.
He said that there is a possibility of light rain in the valley from Saturday to Sunday and moderate rains from Monday to Tuesday in the valley.
Srinagar, the summer capital of the state recorded 9.0 Celsius temperature Saturday, while the mercury at Qazigund in south Kashmir settled at 7.8 degrees Celsius.
Gulmarg, the famous skiing resort in north Kashmir, recorded 4.0 degrees Celsius while night temperature in Pahalgam – the famous health resort settled at 3.8 degrees.
Kokernag town recorded 8.9 degrees Celsius while Kupwara town in north Kashmir registered 5.2 degrees Celsius last night.
Jammu city recorded 19.9 degrees Celsius, Katra 19.8, Batote 13.7, Bannihal 9.0 and Bhaderwah 9.6 degree Celsius.
Kargil recorded the night’s lowest temperature at minus 0.6 degrees Celsius while neighbouring Leh recorded a minimum temperature of 6.1, Met office said. Drass town was the coldest in the Jammu and Kashmir at minus 3.7.
