NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 4:- Chairperson, Jammu and Kashmir State Commission for Protection of Women and Child Rights (JKSCPWCR) Vasundhara Pathak Masoodi today called on Chairperson, National Commission for Women (NCW), Rekha Sharma here today.
During the meeting, threadbare discussions were held on the issues with regards to safety, security, protection and welfare of women and children of Jammu and Kashmir.
Chairperson said that SCPWCR will take concrete measures to ensure the empowerment and protection in line with the international and national welfare policies and laws for better development of these sensitive segments of the society.
Vasundhara Masoodi reiterated her firm commitment with regard to the implementation of all welfare laws and policies in place for the empowerment, development and growth of women and children of the State.
Chairperson, NCW, Rekha Sharma assured that the NCW will extend full support to the JKSCPWCR and suggested speedy trial in cases involving offences against women and children matters.
