Masarat taken back to Kot balwal jail after Court hearing in Sgr

Srinagar, Oct 30: The incarcerated chairman of Muslim League Jammu and Kashmir Masarat Aalam Bhat was brought from Kot Bhalwal Jail, Jammu to Srinagar for the hearing on Tuesday in connection with a case registered against him in 2015.

Aalam was produced in Forest Court where after hearing the arguments; the judge fixed the next hearing of the said case on November 20 next month.

Masrat Aalam according to League spokesperson Sajad Ayobi was taken back to Kotbalwal Jail Jammu. Ayobi said that State and Central Governments under a well hatched conspiracy have been delaying the release of Aalam and this is highly condemnable.

He said that prolonging the illegal detention of Masrat showed their frustration.

He said Government instead of honouring court orders are ignoring all norms and rules, Alam is being subjected to political vendetta.
