Local Muslims help in last rites of Sikh man

Srinagar, Apr 2: Local Muslims helped an outside state Sikh family in performing the last rites of a Sikh man here in Kashmir capital Srinagar.
Reports said that Kuldeep Singh from Punjab who along with his family was residing in Braripora Nawakadal area of Srinagar city from past two decades died after brief illness on Monday morning.
The surrounding Muslim population shortly after his death gathered at his rented house and extended help to family members.
The locals made all the arrangements and helped family in performing his last rites.
The Sikh community meanwhile, hailed the efforts of locals. (CNS)
