Guv congratulates Kashmir, Jammu Universities for being listed among top 100 Universities

JAMMU, APRIL 04: Governor N.N. Vohra, Chancellor of the Kashmir and Jammu Universities, congratulated Prof. Khurshid Iqbal Andrabi and Prof. R.D. Sharma, Vice Chancellors of the Kashmir and Jammu Universities, respectively, for their Universities securing the 47th and 51st positions among the top 100 Universities in the country in the ranking status assessed by Ministry of Human Resource Development under the National Institutional Ranking Framework, the results of which were announced yesterday.
Governor, who is also Chancellor of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, congratulated Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Vice-Chancellor for his University being placed at the 94th rank among all the Engineering Institutes of the country. He commended the notable distinction of this University to being among the top 100 engineering institutes of the country within such a short span since its birth.
Governor advised the Faculty, students and staff of these three Universities to continue with their good work and vigorously endeavour to improve their standings at the future national and international assessments.
