DC Kishtwar reviews progress under Ayushman Bharat

KISHTWAR, JAN 20: District Development Commissioner , Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana convened a meeting to review the progress of the implementation of Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana in the district.
The meeting was attended by CPO Kishtwar, Yasir L. A. Balwan, ACD Kishwar Anil Kumar Chandail, CMO Kishtwar, Dr. Abdul Majeed, Dy. CMO Kishtwar Dr. Yaqoob Mir, Medical Superintendent, Dr. S. D Atri, BMOs, BDOs CSC operators besides ASHA workers.
During the meeting DDC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana took threadbare area-wise review with regard to the progress of the registration of beneficiaries and also heard the issues/bottlenecks faced by the CSC operators/ ASHA workers during the registration of the beneficiaries under the scheme.
He said Ayushman Bharat scheme is targeted at poor, deprived rural families and identified occupational category of urban workers’ families and entitles beneficiaries to a defined Health cover of Rs 5 lac per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization.
He expressed his serious concern over the slow pace of progress of the scheme, and impressed upon the concerned departments to work with renewed synergy and vigour in close coordination with each other and mobilize their field functionaries to complete the registration process before the stipulated period.
He further stressed for giving wide dissemination and awareness at the villages, Panchayat and Mohalla level, so that eligible beneficiaries are enrolled while ensuring 100% registration of the deserving beneficiaries.
DDC instructed all the Block ASHA Coordinators and ASHA workers to work in letter and spirit so as to achieve 100% result.
He said that those Block ASHA coordinators and ASHA workers who achieve their set target before 30th January will be felicitated with Rs. 2000 and Rs. 1000 prize money award respectively.
