COVID19: All educational institutions in J&K to remain closed till May 17

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir government on Sunday extended the closure of educational institutions and training institutes till May 17.

“In continuation to the government order No 477-JK (GAD) of 2020 dated 17.04.2020, it is hereby ordered that all the educational institutions/ training institutes in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir shall remain closed till 17th of May, 2020,” reads an order issued by Additional Secretary, General Administration Department, Rohit Sharma.

The institutions were first closed till March 31 and later extended till May 3.
