Burglars sentenced to 3 years imprisonment in Uri

Srinagar, Aug 30: Sub Judge Uri Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone has ordered three years imprisonment to three accused persons Ahmad Jan, Tanveer Ahmad Sofi and Ghulam Mohammad Malik who were involved in burglary cases.

The accused persons had confessed before the court that they had committed the alleged offences besides being involved in stealing and barging in the houses at Uri and Boniyar.

Besides, fine of Rs 5000 each has also been imposed on the accused, while as in default of depositing fine, the accused shall serve further imprisonment of 06 months.

The Sub judge on the occasion said that the court of Law meant to see that no innocent is punished and of course it is also to be seen that no guilty scot free.
