Advisor Ganai hears public grievances at Governor’s Grievance Cell

Srinagar, Jul 19: The Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai today heard public grievances at JK Governor’s Grievance Cell at Church Lane, Sonwar.

Dozens of public delegations, deputations and organizations met the Advisor and apprised him of their long pending grievances, issues and demands and sought their early redressal.

The deputations included delegation of residents of Awantipora, Kreeri Baramulla, Turigam Rafiabad, Civil Society Kangan, Tourism professionals, Auqaf Committee Akingam, ITI trained workers, shopkeepers from old bus stand Batamaloo, Retired J&K Agricultural Officers besides dozens of other delegations flagged several issues faced by them and sought their redressal.

The Advisor gave them a patient hearing and assured that he will examine their demands and ask the concerned Departments to redress all of their genuine concerns.

The Advisor also took stock of the grievances pertaining to his Departments and assured the aggrieved that the Government would ensure outcome-based disposal of the complaints with the Nodal Officers of the departments under his control.

He assured the delegations whose issues pertained to Departments headed by Advisor (V) and Advisor (K) that their grievances will be forwarded to the concerned for their timely redressal.
