Jammu, December 13: V.S.K. Kaumudi, Addl. DG CRPF, Thursday met Governor Satya Pal Malik here at the Rajbhavan and briefed him about the current internal security scenario in the State.
The Governor lauded the role of CRPF in the peaceful conduct of the recently concluded Panchayat polls in the State.
Later in the day, G.M. Shaheen, State Party President, Janata Dal-United also called on the Governor here at the Raj Bhavan.
Shaheen discussed with Governor a range of issues related to public welfare and congratulated him for the peaceful conduct of just concluded Panchayat and Urban Local Bodies polls.
The Governor urged Shaheen to continue his sustained endeavors for promoting the public good.
