Srinagar, October 24: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) while condemning prolonging incarceration of its chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik and termed it as ‘most undemocratic and unethical’.
A spokesman said that Malik along with JKLF Zonal Organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Ghulam Muhammad Dar and Javed Ahmad Mir have been remanded up to 27th October.
In a statement issued, JKLF also paid tributes to slain Doctor Sabzar Ahmad and Asif Ahmad Gojri who were killed in an encounter today at Nowgam.
JKLF said that “after choking every little space on peaceful political resistance, India and its supporters are pushing our highly educated and passionate youth towards the path of ultimate sacrifice.”
“After scholar Manan Bashir Wani another scholar Doctor Sabzar has been martyred by Indians. These martyrs represent the soul our struggle for freedom and self determination and this nation is in all means indebted to them,” he said.
“A nation whose sons are being massacred by tyrants cannot tolerate tyranny and illegal occupation silently and do anything that can strengthen the blood soaked hands of killers and murderers,” he said, adding that “the nation of Jammu Kashmir will always remember and cherish these sacrifices and continue the struggle for freedom till the achievement of the sacred goal.”
