Budgam, Mar 15: In its continued drive against criminals, Budgam police arrested three absconders.
The accused persons have been identified as Bilal Ahmad Harboo of Bulbul Lankar, Srinagar and Mohd Rafiq of Nawab Bazar, Srinagar. They were wanted by law for their involvement in case 224/1996 under section 379RPC, 06 Forest Act of PS Beerwah. They were evading their arrest from last 24 years.
In another drive, Police Station Khansahib arrested one absconder identified as Manzoor Ahmad Bhat son of Mohd Akbar resident of Sutharan. He was wanted by law for this involvement in case FIR number 102/2015 under section 379 RPC, 6 Forest ACT of Police Station Khansahib. He was evading his arrest from last 5 years.
