A day after Donald Trump was lavishly welcomed by India, US President and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold extensive talks on Tuesday.

At the meeting to be held in New Delhi’s Hyderabad House, Trump and Modi are expected to get down to business during their restricted and delegation-level talks.

On his day 2 in India, US President Donald Trump started his day by attending a ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhawan in Delhi at 10 am, then the president layed wreath at Mahatma Gandhi’s samadhi at Rajghat, New Delhi.

Besides the signing of the defence deals and at least five memorandum of understanding (MoUs) on issues ranging from natural gas, trade facilitation to civil nuclear cooperation, the two leaders will also review the global and regional situation and discuss ways to take forward bilateral relations during their talks at Hyderabad House.

“Today we discussed every important aspect of US-India partnership, be it defence and security, energy strategic partnership, trade or people to people ties. The strengthening in defence ties between India and US is an important aspect of our partnership,” PM Modi while addressing a join press conference with Donald Trump after talks at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.
