Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Thursday said since the BJP formed government at the Centre, democracy is being finished in every state.
He was referring to the developments in Madhya Pradesh.
He said the BJP’s policy is to destabilise states where other parties had formed government.
He said the efforts to break the government in Madhya Pradesh are not new; and they condemned it. They would raise the issue in Parliament, he said.
Azad said the “fever” to destabilise state governments rose when the Rajya Sabha elections are due.
