Srinagar, July 14: The disgruntled PDP leader and former district president Bandipora, Yasir Reshi on Saturday said that the former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti killed aspirations and hope of party policies and people.

Reshi said that the storm didn’t come as sudden it was not a cold volcano in which lava was getting prepared and later busted.

“Mehbooba Mufti and her lieutenants didn’t allow young leaders to move ahead and created hurdles. Though I lost the elections but I got over 32000 votes but the bail of lieutenants was even confiscated. It was suffocating for me to be there as the senior leaders were being ignored as the lieutenants had occupied the party,” he said.

He further said that in his constituency, no demand of people was fulfilled. “People of Hajin are demanding Degree Collage from past ten years but nothing has been done. The government recently sanctioned creation of new colleges but the demand of Hajin people was still ignored,” he said.

Reshi said in Sumbal, the demand of Hospital and other things didn’t materialized as well.

He said that not only in his constituency but the people from rest of the Valley were also ignored by the previous government.
