Sacrifices offered by Kashmiris would not go in vain: Mirwaiz

Srinagar, Apr 17: On the directions of Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, a delegation comprising Ghulam Nabi Zaki, Abdur Rashid Untoo, Ghulam Nabi Najar, Jaffar Kashmiri and Sahil Ahmed War Tuesday visited the residence of slain Amir Hamid Lone of Chattergul Kangan in Ganderbal district who was injured during the funeral of another slain youth and later succumbed at SKIMS.

The delegation condoled the demise of young Amir and expressed solidarity with the parents of slain youth while as Mirwaiz, who continues to remain under house detention, spoke to slain Amir’s father, Abdul Hameed Lone over phone and expressed his condolence and sympathy with the family.

Mirwaiz while speaking to Amir’s father stated that the sacrifices offered by people of Kashmir would not go in vain and that the leadership and people of entire Kashmir are committed to safeguard these sacrifices and take the mission of martyrs to its logical conclusion.

The delegation while paying tributes to slain Amir stated that killings of young boys of Kashmir are unacceptable.

It said that under a well-planned conspiracy with forces are given unbridled powers and are selectively killing young boys to push the people and resistance leadership into a submission.

The delegation said that the iron-fist policy of New Delhi and the ultimate repression has failed on ground to break the resolve of people of Kashmir, who have always shown a tremendous committed towards the ongoing movement.

It said that the hot blood spilled by the young martyrs of Kashmir will never go in vain.
