Pulwama attack aftermath: 3 Kashmiri students booked for social media posts in Bengaluru

Srinagar, Feb 19: Three Kashmiri students were booked in Bengaluru while as a girl student from Kashmir was rusticated for social media posts over Pulwama attack.
In another incident, IIMT College of engineering, Greater Noida suspended a student from Kupwara for posting an ‘anti-national’ comment over Pulwama attack on social media.
In Bengaluru, three students namely Haris, Gowhar and Zakir were charged with sections 124A and 153A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for posting alleged “anti-national and derogatory comments” on social media over Pulwama attack.
All the three have been shifted to Central Jail of Bengaluru.
Meanwhile, SGT University of Gurgaon, Delhi has rusticated a Kashmiri girl student for her social media post over the Pulwama attack.
Similarly, IIMT College of engineering, Greater Noida suspended a Kashmiri student for posting an ‘anti-national’ comment.
According to reports, lshfaq Ahmad from Kupwara had posted something related to Pulwama attack which didn’t go well with college authorities and action was taken against the student.
