Baramulla, Nov 21: Amid prevailing wintry chill, many patients were kept waiting outside a health centre at Panzalla area in Rafiabad in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district by doctors who reportedly turned up in the afternoon on Wednesday.

Locals of the area said that the doctors seldom come on time, forcing patients either to wait or visit Srinagar or Baramulla hospital.

The locals appealed the administration to look into their grievances and address them by making doctors and other staff including paramedics punctual.

They also urged the administration to provide all facilities otherwise available in the medical facility equivalent to the one at Panzalla.

Chief Medical Officer Baramulla Bashir Ahmad Chalkoo when contacted said that he will look into the matter. “I will ask concerned BMO Rohama to look into the matter,” he added.
