No compromise on providing efficient Education facilities to students: DSEK

Srinagar, Mar 26: There will be no compromise on providing efficient education facilities to the students and the deviant officials in this regard shall be dealt with as per norms. After suspending headmasters of HS Chanapora and HS Atinaa of District Budgam, Director School Education Kashmir Dr. G.N. Itoo headed towards District Anantnag and made a surprise inspection of Girls Model Higher Secondary School Bijbehara. He along with Joint Director School Education (South) Dr.Nasir Ahmad Lone inspected many classrooms and took review of the teaching learning process in the classes. He said that at the end of the month of March a list of the students with unsatisfactory attendance shall be published. He also inspected the Herbal garden and the canteen facilities of the Institution.
DSEK said that to facilitate the teaching learning process in the schools, completion of syllabus, conduct of practical’s and the scent percent attendance of the students should be made sure at any cost. Referring to the suspension of two headmasters of District Budgam, DSEK said that monitoring teams at every level have been constituted throughout the Kashmir Division.
DSEK was accompanied by Media Coordinator Education Fayyaz Ahmad Fayyaz and other affiliates of State Media Centre Education.
Later on DSEK Dr. G.N. Itoo along with the Joint Director South Kashmir convened a meeting of the ZEOs of the district to take review of the instructions given in the last meeting and overall functioning of the schools.
Joint Director School Education South Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone informed the meeting that steps are being taken to ensure availability of sufficient staff in all the schools including the far flung areas of the district and the process will be given final shape within few days. During the meeting Zonal Education Officers brought many points into the notice of the officers and in reply DSEK issued immediate instructions to address many issues. DEPO Anantnag Fayaz Ahmad and other officers of the Department were also present in the meeting.
