Mirwaiz seeks help of int’l community to stop killings in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 24: Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Saturday sought the help of international community to help stop what he termed as the massacre of Kashmiris.
Mirwaiz was reacting over the death of two civilians – Ishfaq Ahmad and Muskaan Jan – who succumbed at SKIMS and SMHS hospitals in Kashmir today morning.
“With the succumbing of 2 more civilians Ishfaq Ahmed & Muskaan Jan to Indian forces bullets the number of Kashmiri’s killed up to now this year has crossed 400!” We make a fervent appeal to international community to help stop the massacre of Kashmiri’s unleashed by Indian forces!” said the Mirwaiz on Twitter.
Ishfaq Ahmad, a carpenter by profession was critically injured in a firing incident in Chattergam area of Budgam last night. He succumbed at SKIMS Soura today.
Locals blamed the army for his killing, however army refuted by saying that Ahmad was shot at by the militants “500-600 metres away” from their camp in Chattergam.
Muskaan Jan, a resident of Kulgam district who passed away at SMHS today morning, was critically injured, allegedly in cross-fire after militants launched an attack on an army camp in the district on Thursday morning.
