Militant families allege army of setting their houses ablaze

Srinagar, Aug 30:The family members of the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants from Shopian alleged the army of setting their residential houses ablaze on intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.

The family members of LeT militant Shahjahan Mir of Amshipora Shopian have alleged the Army 23 para (based at Reshnagri Shopian) of setting their single-story house ablaze and damaging the property during the intervening night. Another family of militant Naveed Shah of Nazneenpora Shopian also alleged of burning their household items besides damage to their house during the night.

Earlier, few such cases were also reported from the south Kashmir where families allege army of vandalizing their property.
