Srinagar, Aug 26:Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday said a man found roaming suspiciously outside Police Control Room Kashmir was released after questioning.
“The said person was traced and detained for questioning. During the course of questioning, nothing adverse surfaced with regard to him,” said a spokesman.
“Some media channels reporting linking the individual to militant outfit is factually incorrect. Media is requested to seek official confirmation before running such stories,” he said.
The CCTV footage of the man walking outside the PCR has gone viral on social media.
