Srinagar: Exchange of fire took place between militants and security forces in Lolab forests of Kupwara district on Tuesday.
According to the reports, a joint team of Police, Army’s 28RR and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Lolab forests.
SSP Kupwara ShriRam Ambarkar confirmed that the exchange of fire took place between forces and militants.
SSP said that more reinforcements have been rushed to the forests. (GNS)
