Governor clears file on pay anomaly of employees after 22-years

Srinagar, July 11: The governor administration on Wednesday cleared file regarding pay anomaly of employees in the state.

Officials at civil secretariat told GNS that the file has been cleared by Governor NN Vohra and his advisor BB Vyas in a meeting today and now it would be placed before SAC in its next meeting other than the one scheduled for today.

The file had been hanging fire from last 22-years and the decision to clear it has been welcomed by the employees.

“This is a landmark decision which will benefit thousands of employees. We are thankful to the governor and his advisor for recognizing our genuine demand after 22-years,” J&K Civil Secretariat Employees Union President Ghulam Rasool Mir said.

He said that the decision would benefit clerical cadre and other categories in the state.
