Srinagar, Nov 16: For Directorate of Archives, Archaeology and Museums, NN Vohra is still the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. The official website of the department www.jkarchives.nic.in shows that NN Vohra is still the Governor of the State. Ironically, the website has been updated recently and changes have been made with regard to Director of the department. Muneer-ul-Islam has been correctly shown as the Director while the photograph and the name of incumbent Governor has not been updated.
Pertinently, NN Vohra left the state as Governor in August this year. Recently, Government spent huge sums of money to monitor the status of official websites. “In spite of huge resources at disposal, the designers at official level are not updating these websites which are being accessed by common men for information purposes.
