SRINAGAR, AUGUST 30: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan today convened a meeting to review the arrangements for upcoming Muharram-ul-Haram with senior officers of Divisional Administration.
Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr Shahid Iqbal, Deputy Commissioner Budgam Tariq Hussain Ganai, Additional Commissioner Kashmir Tasaduq Hussain Mir, DIG (Central) V K Birdhi, SSPs of Srinagar & Budgam, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jammu & Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian Noor Mohammad Wani, representatives of Imambaras and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
The Divisional Commissioner asked the representatives of Jammu & Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian and Imambaras and senior officers of Divisional Administration to work with close coordination for the hassle free observance of Muharram across the valley.
