Srinagar, Jun 28: Former chief minister and National Conference (NC) vice president, Omar Abdullah on Thursday said that holding debates upon the occurrence of surgical strikes won’t yield any result.
He said that “debating the occurrence of surgical strikes can’t achieve anything rather we should discuss what the strikes have changed on the ground.”
“There is nothing to be gained from debating whether the #SurgicalStrikes took place. What we should be objectively discussing is what the strikes changed on the ground,” Omar tweeted.
The statement of former chief minister came days after the footage of Indian Army’s surgical strike was broadcasted by many TV channels.
