CRPF spokesman Neeraj Rathore told GNS that the grenade was recovered by domination party of paramilitary forces at around 7:45 am. “The device was later destroyed,” the spokesman said.

Asked how it was recovered, the officer said that there is possibility that some OGW might have left it on roadside on seeing the CRPF party.

“There is tremendous pressure on OGWs these days and it is possible that they might have left it. Investigations in this regard are under way,” the officer added.
