Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P K Pole Wednesday said that restrictions will continue which are already in place in the valley because of the surge in the number of coronavirus cases.

“ Daily more than 100 cases are being reported in J&K. The restrictions will continue which are already in place,” he told news gathering agency KINS.

His announcement came after several states announced relaxations in lockdown.

“We have brought back all our people stranded in other states and aboard. We need to be cautions,” he said.

Experts have maintained that COVID19 lockdown exit plan must be comprehensive and effective in an effort to avoid spread of virus.

“Currently we are implementing the same norms which are in place from last week,” the divisional commissioner said. (KINS)
