Srinagar, Mar 25:  A girl who fled from Chest Diseases hospital here was tracked and readmitted by the authorities on Wednesday.

The girl with recent travel history to Hungary escaped from the hospital Wednesday morning.

Later in the day, she was tracked by the government officials and brought back to the hospital

“Tracked. Admitted again. Legal action to follow,” tweeted DC Srinagar Dr Shahid Choudhary.

Sources in the hospital said the girl, a Srinagar resident, who had returned from Hungary, arrived at CD Hospital on Tuesday.

“We collected her samples and have sent them to laboratory. She was suffering from fever and flu. Without waiting for the result of the test, she gave a slip, and fled from the hospital,” sources added.

Last week, a youth from Padshahi Bagh whose test turned out to be negative later on was detained by police after he ran away from the same hospital.
