COVID19: 13 more patients sent home after recovering at CD hospital

Srinagar: Thirteen more patients found coronavirus positive have been discharged from the hospital after recovering fully from the virus, officials said on Tuesday.

Head of Department, Chest Diseases hospital, Srinagar, Dr Naveed Nazir Shah announced the welcome development.

“A satisfactory moment…relieved 13 covid patients for home quarantine… not to lower our guard….stay home.. stay safe.. maintain social distance..obey advisories. Together v can overcome all challenges,” Dr Shah tweeted.

He said the tests of patients were repeated thrice and reports of their third samples were received today, which were negative as well.

Pertinently, 225 positive cases have been detected in Kashmir division so far while three persons have died and around 22 patients have recovered.

The total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir stands at 273.
