Blinded in 2016, Kupwara man appeals for help

Mohammad Shaban Malla, who lost his eyesight due to pellets in 2016, appeals people to help him feed his family in these extraordinary times.

Shaban, a resident of Kupwara, was a labourer till he partially lost his eyesight after being hit with pellets in both of his eyes during the 2016 unrest.

In 2019, he was operated upon which helped him regain some eyesight. He was due for another surgery but could not arrange money for it. Now, that the whole world is locked down, the poor man is facing extreme difficulty to feed his family of six children and wife. He appeals people to help him.
