Srinagar, Aug 29:Renowned Supreme Court lawyer MeenakshiArora will represent the intervention plea filed by J&K Awami National Conference (ANC) and JK civil society coordination in the petition challenging Article 35-A in the Supreme Court.
“Note Supreme Court Lawyer MeenakshiArora will appear for J&K Awami National Conference (ANC) and JK civil society coordination members Nasir- ul-Islam, Jagmohan Singh Raina and advocate Javaid Mir,” ANC senior vice president Muzzafar Shah said in a press statement, issued from New Delhi.
As per statement, advocate MeenakshiArora will also appear on behalf of civil society Jammu (JK united Peace movement). She will be assisted by six lawyers, three from Srinagar and three from Jammu.
