After 4 days, slain cops body reaches his native village in Karnah

Karnah, Mar 05: The body of slain policemen Naseer Ahmad Kohli who was killed in an encounter with militants in Babagund area of Langate in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district finally reached after four days to his ancestral village Gundi Gujrain in Karnah.

Thousands of mourners from different parts of Karnah, including men and women thronged to Gundi Gujrain, the native village of slain cop.

Amid sobs and tears, the 38-years-old police constable Naseer Ahmad Kohli was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard.

Kohli is survived by elderly parents, two children and wife. His elder brother Shabir Ahmad Kohli suddenly died a month ago. He left behind four children and a wife.
