Srinagar, July 10 : A youth body of a youth was found under mysterious conditions today morning.
Reports said the body was spotted by some locals and informed the concerned police station about the body lying in a dam at Yousmarg.
The police team reached the spot immediately and fished out the body, they said.A police officer confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as Sameer Ahmad Dar (24), a resident of Watkaloo village.
He said that the body was handed over to the family after conducting all legal medico formalities including the post-mortem.
The youth was missing and the family of the deceased had filed a missing report with the police on June 27, he said.“Police has registered a case under 174CrPc and started further investigations to ascertain the cause of death,” he said.
