18 new COVID-19 cases detected in Ladakh

Srinagar: Eighteen new positive cases of Covid-19 were reported on Sunday morning in the Union Territory of Ladakh, taking the total number of active cases in it to 24.

Rigzin Samphal, Commissioner Secretary Health and Medical Education, Ladakh in a Tweet said that 18 new positive cases have been reported from Chuchot Yokma.

“18 new Positive Cases from Chuchot Yokma. Please Stay Home and respect the rule of Social Distancing,” he Tweeted.

With 18 new cases, the total number of positive cases in Ladakh have gone up to 41 of which 17 have been cured and discharged while 6 are under treatment. Total active cases in the UT now stand at 24.
