‘Winds from Pak’: North Kashmir parts receive ‘yellowish’ snowfall

Srinagar: The Meteorological Department on Friday issued a ‘c๐™ก๐™–๐™ง๐™ž๐™›๐™ž๐™˜๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ’ ๐™ง๐™š๐™œ๐™–๐™ง๐™™๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™ก๐™–๐™จ๐™ฉ ๐™ฃ๐™ž๐™œ๐™๐™ฉ’๐™จ  ๐™ฎ๐™š๐™ก๐™ก๐™ค๐™ฌ๐™ž๐™จ๐™/ ๐™™๐™ช๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™ฎ ๐™จ๐™ฃ๐™ค๐™ฌ๐™›๐™–๐™ก๐™ก ๐™ค๐™ซ๐™š๐™ง ๐™‰๐™ค๐™ง๐™ฉ๐™ ๐™†๐™–๐™จ๐™๐™ข๐™ž๐™ง.
“Analysis of  2nd Generation Weather Satellite (Meteosat-9) of EUMETSAT( European Operational Satellite Agency) confirms that Yesterday’s Yellowish/ Dusty Snowfall over some parts of North Kashmir was DUST carried out by winds from central parts of Pakistan & Southern Afghanistan ( as shown in encircled area) which started around 7 PM IST. travelled Northeast wards and reached North Kashmir around 02:00hrs AM(IST),” a statement issued by the MeT office said.
